SNAG inspections for buyers from developers

Developers normally give buyers 14 days in which to give them a snag list of all items to be attended to by the builder/developer. The HouseCheck inspectors will do a detailed SNAG of the property in all areas such as structure, damp, geysers, roof, grounds and storm water drainage, interiors and observable issues with gas, electrical, plumbing and electrical fence installations.

Specialist Inspections for when there are problems:

Damp inspections.

Penetrating and rising damp can affect a property by weakening the structure, create unsafe living conditions and generally cause unsightly finishes. The HouseCheck inspector will report on all damp areas and express an opinion on the probable causes of the dampness.

Roof inspections

Incorrectly built roofs or older roofs can be problematic for property owners especially when they fail to perform according to their design. Problems with roof structures are not limited to the roof covering but can also include issues with design, weathering and supporting structure.
