Pre-Listing Inspection report

The HouseCheck Pre-Listing inspection report aims to assist property sellers in avoiding legal risk by providing additional information to supplement the mandatory disclosure required by the Property Practitioners Act (Section 63).

This report identifies severe issues within the property, also known as “material” defects. With this report, sellers can determine which weaknesses they want to repair before the property is listed and which defects they will disclose to potential buyers.

This process ensures that the seller is complying with the law. Suppose the seller repairs some or all of the flaws before listing the property.

In that case, HouseCheck will provide a second report that excludes the previously fixed material defects and provides an updated overview of the property’s condition.
